Does anyone know what this radar display unit is from? It is labelled as a Unit 9 Indicator Command and has an RAF Stores Reference No of 10AW/6081. I can’t find any information about it and would be grateful for any suggestions. I originally thought it was Phantom, but that doesn’t seem to match and can’t think what it might be from.

Thanks very much for that guys. It explains why I thought I’d got it wrong, as this doesn’t have the Optical Display Unit fitted to the front of it. Anyway, it’s great to confirm what it is, so thanks again.

Yup, Phantom.
Herewith pic of the same, or a similar, unit attached to the Optical Display Unit (HUD) I fitted to Phantom XV490, last year.

Phantom FGR2
Its LRU 9 from the AWG 12 radar fitted to the F4M Phantom. The Opitical Display Unit of the Lead Computing Optical Sight System bolted onto the front to make up what was known as the Command Indicator.
