Looking for a little help here please for a project.
does anyone have any photographs of early to mid 50’s or 60’s US air Force or ANG C-45’s C-45G/H models
further to this is there anyone with a copy of the technical order concerning painting of US Air force/ANG aircraft during this time frame.

Hi Mike
thanks for those pictures
I have tried to contact Bill Larkins but to no avail.
I know Taigh (not well) but he is so busy nowadays i am struggling with him also.
love AT-11’s would love to see one over here.
this one is out – been done already
looking for something just that little bit different

MATS or the photo mapping scheme is under consideration
personally i like the Alaska markings on the F-2 variant – 1st photographic sqn but owner doesn’t like orange.
even the red and yellow from the Ronne Antarctic expedition photos i linked a couple of weeks back – this is unique but red/orange again.

A selection of Bill’s shots of Beech 18s in military service:

I left out the AT-11s and civilian-registered examples, but was rather taken with this 1964 shot of an AT-11 converted for spraying

Two suggestions would be contacting Bill Larkins (who has been photographing aviation around the SF Bay area and further afield since the late-1930s)

And Taigh Ramey

thanks for the pics
maybe i should have been a little clearer on the Project
this is not a model or a profile – the information is for a complete re-spray of a Beech 18.
this is a chance to come up with an outstanding and accurate new paint scheme for an aircraft which will be seen on the UK air show circuit.
etch and priming is underway – top coat will be applied when we get the right scheme approved.
USAF 50’s / 60’s seems favorite but equally a US Navy scheme could be on the cards.
No Orange or red suggestions please – they are out.
MATS might be good but decent pictures required

Nothing ventured nothing gained, may be a bit late, but may also be of some help
