Help identify Italian and German instrument placards

I came across these instrument panel placards that supposedly came from a US Army veteran who fought in Italy. Can anyone identify their function and any aircraft they were associated with?

The second one relates to an air intake lever in the cockpit I would say, probably the carberettor heating?

It says:
(left) I) normal take off, II) normal flight, III) emergency
(right) I) flight over 3000 metres, II) take off in icing conditions, III) emergency

Lower line: with extra air intake

@ericmunk: IMHO you are correct with it, but the lower line. I would say it means: with clogged air intake (ice build up in intake).

first one relates to a fuel switch. It says:

” Fuel Switch. When machine hangs to the left, move lever to the left”
