Britain on Film – ‘A Woman’s Place’
included a few seconds of (uncredited) Sir Gus Walker – in this case inspecting what I assume was a passing out parade of WAAF officers in the early 1960s .
it will be recalled that he had been in command of 42 Base which included the stations of Pocklington , Melbourne and Elvington from March 1943 .

I too would say it was Sir Gus. Is the Station Spitalgate?

Looks like him. Lost an arm when removing incendiaries from a burning Lancaster when the 4,000lb bomb exploded at Syerston.
