Cockpit canopy rails. Hurricane, Spitfire, Tempest?

Can anyone help with the identification of a set of canopy rails. I was told they were either Hurricane or Spitfire. Do’nt believe they are Spitfire as there is no lip or flange. They look like they attach to the airframe through the back of the rail itself. I have 4 pieces each of which is about 5ft in length. There are no markings on them whatsoever although the rail profile fits my original MK1X canopy.
Any ideas

I made Spitfire rails from angled aluminium. Not authentic but they seem to work! Photo shows initial set up.
