Spitfire for £1

A bottle that is. On my weekly visit to Sainsburys this morning I found that Spitfire Beer was on offer for £1 a bottle. That’s a proper bottle, not the smaller ones that sell at Aldi for £1. Get some in as they say.

Swordfish brewed by Wadworth is a darn good ale too. 5% Vol you know.

It says is a Unique blend of 6X and Pussers Rum !!!

Only just read that bit and I drank it a week ago!

No wander I like it what with likeing real Ales and Lams Navy Rum. 😀

I love Spitfire Ale, “The Bottle of Britain” as they say, Probably my favourite
real ale, I would love to try Thwaites “Lancaster Bomber” sometime.

Plenty of Bomber up your neck of the woods Eddie – brought some bottles back ‘down south’ after my last visit to Southport 😀

IT IS NOT 100% GENUINE, someone dug up a lable and the bottle was rebuilt from that :diablo:
