An interesting piece on the VWoC website concerning a Hucks starter they’ve recently had made, being used to start the Rockcliffe Hind
In the article it mentions VWoC sponsoring the restoration of a Hawker Fury, hence the need for a Hucks. Then it mentions “The Fury is well under way”
This one seems to have slipped under my radar, are any more details available on the VWoC Fury?

George Neal also still was flying as a couple of years ago in his Chipmunk. Keeping busy in his ’90’s.

So, are there 2 Fury’s being built for Canada ?, as the story I heard about one being built for them here in the UK, came from a reliable source.
The one being built here, is part of an exchange deal involving the 2nd Afgan Hind that went to Canada.

IIRC there is a Fury project underway in Canada, according to Classic Wings magazine some time back.

I think that it is actually a repro Fury with some original fittings, which is currently being built for them here in the UK.
