This was a Richard Attenborough film about Bomber Command made in 1943 by the RAF Film Unit. The question is, does anyone know which station was used for it; all I know is that it was a Lancaster HCU.

That’s it! I was interviewing a 64-op Flight Engineer yesterday, who took part in the filming while on his HCU course, but he has lost his log book and could not recall the name of the station. Great, thanks a lot.

Excellent John Boulting film – highly recommended and still available. I think it was shot at Methwold.
