Parachute Mine Helford River, Detonation Today

Saw this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cornwall-19755679 it looks like a big one.
It doesnt say who put it there but I guess its German and not something discarded by Allied forces.
Would make a nice museum object if it it could be saved, but for obvious reasons that isnt going to happen.
