Heads up – Jeremy Vine speaks to BoB pilot on BBC R2 from 12 today.

I caught this accidently, brilliant interview, what a down to earth and unassuming chap Tony Pickering is, I can’t think of a better person to convey to a modern audience just what ‘the few’ had to go through.
Shame about the ejection bit (especially the Bader gaff!), I didn’t hear the responses so unsure if he was corrected!

JV, like the Daily Mail, seems to be a strong supporter of aviation matters which given there mass appeal can only be a good thing, but they are very different other than that.
