Some awful photos which may be of interest but which I must clean up some day! The lack of any kind of barrier around some of the aircraft made photography very difficult!
The aircraft are: 4X-AGB; 46 Sqn Javelins (Part of 27 Javelin Flypast); 151 Sqn. Javelins.
AS+554; Firestreak Missiles.
G-ALYW (I think); G-AMZN; G-AOUS.
G-ATEL (AT Accountant) in distance; GN101 Finnish AF Gnat.

On the Saturday Mike. This was my second Farnborough but I could only afford to take two photos in 1956! Incidentally the reason these photos are so bad is because I had borrowed my Aunt’s old box camera and in the sunshine I couldn’t see anything in the prismatic viewfinder, so I just had to point the camera vaguely in the right direction and hope for the best!

Jim………..
Thanks. I was there on the Saturday too. Think you and your Aunt’s box camera did a pretty good job.

Lovely shots Jim, from a time well before I was born, but wish I had witnessed, thanks for sharing.
