Red 7 Close call

109’s and crosswinds do not mix, I don’t know what limits the Messerschmitt stiftung impose on their aircraft but they seem to be fairly open minded about crosswinds and tarmac runways

A minor scrape, nothing more (with any luck). The pilot would have stopped the engine to stop things from escalating any further.

Certainly wouldn’t be the worst this particular airframe has suffered!!

It doesn’t look to bad. Shame it happend to such as lovely aircraft. Hope it fly’s again soon!
