The complainants are very quiet on this thread – thankfully! I hope you were not the victim of a conspiracy by some rather bored and sad forum members.

Perhaps they’ve simply gone off to post elsewhere ? :confused:

Maybe the complainers should speak up, but as pointed out it’s up to the mods to deal with those complaints.

Personally I see this as a storm in a teacup, it’s only a potential two week ban not a life sentence?

Do you expect the mods to do nothing and throw the complaints out? Yes Sandy makes some very excellent contributions to this forum, but as he has been told by me and the new mods, he is often accused of arrogance and a disrespectful or should I say ‘dissing’ approach to other members opinions, particularly when the words Airbus and Boeing appear in the same sentence.

I respect and disagree with Sandy’s opinions in equal measure. Unfortunately the forum isn’t just about one or another member’s opinions, it’s supposed to be about everyone’s?

It’s an aviation discussion, the mod’s are there to deal with the situations when things get personal, catty and egotistical. They really shouldn’t have to deal with that kind of crap.

Unfortunately as I found out, the job can be nothing more than being a mediator between certain types who choose to conduct a personal war of words with each other… “Please can you have word with so and so, I don’t like him?” Or the same plea from the other protaganist embroiled in the same argument.

Don’t forget you voted for these guys to mod your forum, so at least have some respect for their actions. Perhaps instead of a two week ban, certain people could be made to mod the forum for two weeks and see how good a job they make of it ? 😮
