At the top of page 60 of the Sept. Flypast is a picture of 2 F-86’s over Germany. The puzzle is…,what is that extra wing extending from under
FU-119 and the probe in front. Very obviously (to me at least) they are not from either of the aircraft we can see. Something is hiding.

Thank you, now that it’s pointed out and I look with a different perspective I see where I was confused. Must get the MK 1 eyeballs tested.

To me it just looks like the probe on the starboard wing of the third F-86 from which the photo is taken?
