Very nice write-up and photos of a non fatal crash involving a USAF RF-4C Phantom from RAF Alconbury, back in May 1970. There’s also a link at the bottom of the page with an update on the site and finds.
I had to smile after reading the bit about schoolboys trading bits of the aircraft in the playground, just as my dad told me he did during wartime.
