Cardington No1 Shed

I drove past the Cardington airships sheds today. The clading is of one end of No1 shed. Is it being recovered or taken down ? I know it needs a great deal of money to stay up. I hope it will survive.

Noticed that a large section of the roof cladding was being removed a few weeks ago. I think I’m right in saying that refurbishment of the ‘listed’ shed (Number 1 Shed?) was a condition of the sale of the land of the former RAF Cardington for housing development.

It is a Grade II listed structure, hopefully it’s the start of it’s refurbishing.
