100 acres site, flying display aircraft operating off grass and your close to the runway with no building in the background,
Large battle over several fields,
Loads of vehicles tanks etc
Scenario set ups, German trenches, Aussie and Japanese, Uk And US..
Just outside Leicester and a sleeper of a show, a cracking day out and only £15 to get in..

Grace Spitfire Tr9, TFC Corsair, Spit V, P40F and Hawk 75, Marinelle and Janie, Peter Vacher’s Hurricane, Peter Holloway with the Storch, Harvard, Bucker and Bf108 and last but by no means least, particularly when landing on and taking off from a couple of fields with the hedge taken out, the Aces High C47 . Other visiting but not displaying historics included L-4, Stearman and Chippy.
Tomorrow includes the Vulcan and BBMF participation,
Plus hundreds of Military vehicles and re-enactors of all shapes and sizes

Yep, until a couple of years ago I had never even heard of it, been ever since, it really is a sleeper of a show, close to the motorway and lots to see..
If anyone’s interested, you tube the Victory Show..
If you have kids that love all things war, they will enjoy it immensely. Just take them some ear plugs if close to the battle. 😉
It’s all done by the owners of a farm for local charities
That’s the display crowd line and the runway is the light patch behind it, the gap in the hedge the runway goes through can be seen

Love the way the grass strip is almost part of the showground – feels as if all they did was remove a hedge to join a couple of fields together to get the requisite length – It’s just like a wartime temporary airfield.
Last year MH bought two P51s – to see them bouncing over the grass tussocks to line up for take off was a completely different experience for those used to manicured strips.
Will be a good vehicle display as well
