Interesting photos from Krakow aviation museum in Poland.. some very well known and not so known aircraft.
A very high regarded war US veteran is found there along side some more modern examples/
Warbird heaven for europeans.

Happy for Krakow.
Fine work on wonderful aircraft.
A real Historical collection of famous aircraft.
Very knowledgable and friendly staff.
Great looking F-105 Thud.
Congratulations to all those Museums that are taking advantage of the mistaken decisions taken by those in the UK.

A very recent development has been the unveiling in Krakow of a full scale, non-flying, all-metal replica of a PZL.37B light bomber.
It was in Mielec, not Krakow.
Unfortunately it is not exact replica, as some parts are simplified or wrong shape – but is welcome as reminder of one of the best Polish aircraft. Furthermore, PZL.37 was a medium bomber – range with 2200 kg bomb load was 1500 km, extra fuel tanks (900 l) allowed to take 1700 kg bombs with 2600 km flying range.

What a superb effort! Nice to see the Polish built Black Hawk in the background as well!

A very recent development has been the unveiling in Krakow of a full scale, non-flying, all-metal replica of a PZL.37B light bomber. Built by Kazimierz Nowakowski and Jakub Skrzypek at Polskich Zakładach Lotniczych (PZL) in Mielec.

Looks great, they have done more with the F105 than Duxford managed although they wanted it?
A bit of repaint:

Thanks for the photos Robert. That looks like a new building where the Spitfire is. When I was there a very pleasant German bloke who was working temporarily for them asked if I would like to sit in the Spit which I did and he took a picture of me. I was most impressed with the place but you are right you need to get a taxi. We were not that far away in the Chopin Hotel but it was still awkward to get to.

I had a short visit on the 30th September 2012 and my photos can be seen on https://plus.google.com/u/0/photos/118038634587676944989/albums/5795154237724688401?hl=en . No sign of the Amiot! The Camel was a surprise and the WW1 fuselages very impressive. I nearly had to cancel this trip but I am glad I made the effort. Due to a recent illness I had to take a taxi both ways but the cost was reasonable and the nearest tram stop was too far away for me to reach. The Spitfire colour scheme looked a bit odd and some the colours used to repaint aircraft may be incorrect but a great place to visit particularly if you like MiGs.
