Avon Help

Hi Guys,

We have an AVON jet engine on display in our HARS Museum at Albion Park, Wollongong,Australia.

The data plate is missing. And we have no idea what aircraft it came out of to help us identify its Mk number.

Here in Australia its likely out of an Avon Sabre or a Canberra.

Can anyone provide us with some help on where any hidden serial numbers might be or the physical differences between the Marks to help us.
