Concorde art????

Hello all
I have been sent to Paris CDG to work for a few days. During a slack morning I had a walk round the local village of Roissy-en-France. In the local park there is an exhibition of modern art. Now I’m not into that sort of thing, I’m more of a “Dogs playing cards” man, but I had a few hours to kill.
In amongst all the bent bits of metal and odd bits of concrete were these two items.

This L/H MLG was left over from the Air France Concordes

This represents the spirit of flight. The “Bird” looks a lot like a Concorde on fire and I thought it was a memorial to the Concorde disaster.
The reason behind the location of these sculptures is that Roissey is positioned right between CDG’s flight path and this quiet little village is constantly shaking with aircraft noise.
