As if I didn’t have a busy enough life, it occurs to me I could do with a new project. Any of you folks out there got an aircraft/nose or a ‘something’ that you keep looking at and thinking, “you know, I’m never going to get time to do that”.
I should quickly add, I’m not Bill Gates, so no big pound note signs in your eyes boys – cheap n’ cheerful, preferably free. I’m inextricably linked with Solway Aviation Museum so anything worthwhile also gets displayed once restored. I would consider a loan arrangement if you’ve got something that you don’t really want to part with but is taking up space and time.
I’m an experienced restorer so I know when to say no to a project.. I think..
I tend to get drawn into heavy metal with previous Comet R2 nose and a Nimrod nose. My wife might get a bit anxious (yet again) if it’s big, so go steady on me…
Over to you, any ideas welcome.
