I bought a Jag/Mirage stick top off of evilbay a couple of years ago. I decided on Jag as it has a short trigger, Mirage sticks seeming to have a longer version which folds back over the top. The same vendor listed the column it came from more recently. He said he’d worked on Jags and it was the same. There are enough Jaguar cockpit photos around to disprove that, but very few Mirage ones to identify it with. The column was manufactured 11/81 and is well marked CV18. The labels are missing from the grip but it has red buttons. Googling Dassault and the part number doesn’t help at all. Any ideas gratefully received, facts more so!

Yes, the SAMM labels have gone, just rivet holes. Here is some detail from the grip. The few photos of the fronts of Mirage grips look to have a longer trigger.

Do you have a picture of the buttons at the top of the stick? Should narrow down the type. normally there is a data tag near the bottom collar of the stick, but it looks like that’s gone from yours.

I think you’re right. IIIC looks right, although lots of Mirage III sticks are different.

III series?

Thanks Fouga, but what type of Mirage? Pretty sure it’s not F1.

Yup, that’s a Mirage stick! Stick itself is not by Dassault, but by SAMM
