At last I have actually finally reached that stage on my project, where I have some bits that actually look like parts of an aeroplane, rather than a random pile of fittings :D.

Sounds like a copy of the same drawing I have “any chance of being able to see a photo of it ?”.
My early type fin & rudder were made by TVAL in NZ, even they didn’t have drawings for the early type, so they made them using what info they had available.
I also obtained a set of blanks for the main spar, & top centre section metal fittings, so the centre section will probably be the next item to be completed, as the nosing & spars for it are done.
I’m still looking for any drawings etc for the early type of Snipe, as well as anything on the parts made by the WEYMANN or BADIN companies, of France.

Looking good Bob:) By chance we aquired a Snipe Drawing of the fin and rudder the other day, dated 1924.

Thanks.
With any luck the front engine mounting plate will be finished soon, then all I’ll need is the bit that fits between it & the rudder LOL.
