Legends – Aeronautical airbrush

Well many thanks to the departing Yak Aerostars on Sunday, their smoking take off obliterating the ‘Cessna backdrop’ on my last shot of the day…and one of my favourites.

Rob…

That’s a stunningly evocative photo of the Hurricane…I love it! 🙂

Spit shot

Still, a very nice photo, Mark 12.

It epitomises the sleekness and power of the later Spits – and just look at that big prop – gorgeous! (yes, I know I’m a bit wierd:D).

A similar smoke cloud enhanced the Hurribomber’s taxy out at Sywell 2010

Well the pictures you did get are very good 🙂

I remember one year at Mildenhall, there was low cloud and little wind.
The Red Arrows flew over with R/W/B smoke. Leaving the sky a dirty brown
colour for quite some time.

My thoughts exactly Mk12….and I thought their display was excellent, too.

Smokescreens..just what Legends needs.
