Error’s aside it IS GOOD to see this era of Aviation in the public domain. Lets hope as we approach the 100th aniversary of the Great War that more of it happens, be good if people understood that something did happen before the Battle Of Britian and there is more to historic aircraft than Spitfire’s!!

Shame The Mail don’t know the correct year the first powered flight took place either.
Such a come down from the good old days when the paper gave so much encouragement to the early aviators with their prizes.

Interesting stuff, shame they carnt tell the difference between a Camel and a Pup though;)
You know the drill: Every WWI Brit fighter is a Camel like every WWII fighter is a Spit. Its all Fokkers and Messerschmitts for the Hun respectively.
