Hello, Does anyone have any Information on a crashed Luftwaffe Aircraft next to Warden Springs holiday park (Warden Point) on the isle of Sheppy in Kent,
My parents had a static caravan on this site, they were told of an aircraft found in thick overgrowth some 30 yrs after the crash the pilot was found still in the cockpit.
(id be grateful for any help.)

Possibly off topic, but, I never knew that the pillbox/ gun emplacement at Warden point, which was still up the hill when we had a chalet there, (sounds like one upmanship, but it was made entirely of asbestos!) was infact an acoustic mirror.

An element of truth!
Me 110, 13 August 1940, Warden Point, Sheppey.
3./ZG26, W Nr 3369.
Oblt K Fuchs and Uffz W Ebben both killed.
No truth in the rumour that pilot was found in cockpit 30 years later.
