Latest story covers the RAAF in Korea – the Korean War started in June 1950 and the RAAF were quick to be in the thick of it within days flying P-51 Mustangs on combat missions either as bomber escort or ground attack missions. Why didn’t the RAF particapte in air-to-air combat?
The RAAF was there, and a RN carrier force.
So aside from seconded officers, I’m not aware of RAF fighter or bomber ops in Korea.
