RAF Abingdon 1969:
On 26th November 1969 a group of students visited RAF Abingdon. We had permission to take photographs, although it turned out that there wasn’t a great deal to photograph in the areas we were shown.
There was a trio of Andovers undergoing maintenance: XS602, XS604 and this one, XS644.

As we were moving on, I snatched this picture. Gliders are not my strong point, and I have no idea what type it is, but I do know it was used by the RAF Gliding Association or whatever it was called back then.

More interesting to me was Dragon Rapide G-AGSH. It seems to have been quite often photographed in recent years. Here we have it in the scheme it wore when used by the RAF for sport parachuting.
