Unidentified piece with data plates

Can anyone identify this piece please? There are copious numbers on it but they may not show in the picture so I have transcribed them below. Thanks in advance.

Brass Tag: AW S223, AW 77S 5, a “T” in a circle and a number “5” elsewhere.

Angle Bracket: X (or Y?) 34686 2

Black Label: GSP 3131, Drg No. AB 96935, Iss No. 2, Serial 41H S4 VD5963

Silver Label: GSP 314 2, Ser No. 41H S4 VD 5963 Mk 1, PL ?5 3686, Mods checked to leaflet less 5295, C1T and a “SA? 239” in a circle.

Not really, no.

It looks like a crash item, how did you come to end up with it (it may help in working out where it came from), what’s on the other side of it? The paint could help say if you have a piece off a naval aircraft or a land based type.
