Heinkel 111 Werk no 9370- ?? BofB Veteran?

Having just read the recent Dornier thread r.e. BofB survivors, I have wondered for some time whether a particular He III served in the battle?

The aircraft in question was a He III H-5, Werk no 9370, which flew with 3/KG53, (A1+AL) & crashed at Wigginton in Yorkshire 16/4/1941.

I understand that some H-5’s were used prior to 31/10/1940, but was this one of them- can anyone confirm this for me please?

Regards Rad.:)

For the sake of all search engines: It’s called Heinkel He 111 not He(inkel) III …
