Where to volunteer

Hi guys
I am finally leaving Cornwall after 25 years for pastures new in the Yeovil. I have been an aircraft engineer for 25 years mainly electrical although for the past few years I have been instructing avionics. I would love to volunteer to help at a museum on the restoration side, I would think that the FAA museum would be my best bet but I don’t know who to contact, the web just mentions guides, also does anybody know of any other collections in the area? I will be living in the Bridport area Thanks in advance for any info.

Tony

Volunteering

The Helicopter Museum has several volunteers who come up to Weston regularly from the Yeovil area.Contact Rod Holloway via helimuseum@btconnect.com for details. The museum is always interested in experienced volunteers, especially if you fancy rebuilding a Wessex 5 !

I would think the FAAM are your best bet, they do have volunteers working on the aircraft restoration/maintenance side of things, and I would think a qualified engineer would be attractive.
Will send PM with a contact.
The Helicopter Museum at Weston maybe another option?
