The following have been listed as the historic content in the FLYING display of the ‘100th Anniversary of Soviet Air Force’ show, to be held at Zhukovsky near Moscow on 11th and 12th of August this year:-
Bleriot, Newport, 2x Fokker, W-2, 2x Po-2, I-15bis, CIO-153, Ju-52, I-16, MiG-3, Yak-3, Yak-11, Li-2 (DS- 3), Me-109, F-38, F-40, MC-502, “Moran”, T-6 “Teksan” Yak-18A, Spitfire, Harikeyn, F-4 “Corsair», B-25 “Mitchell” , P-51 “Mustang”, MiG-15, Uchi, A-26 “Invader”, aviabalet “Lido”
An interesting line-up. I’m guessing that ‘Harikeyn’ is possibly the worst spelling of ‘Hurricane’ in the history of time!!
The show also includes a huge amount of military hardware, including:-
‘3x Tu-22M3, 3x Tu-160, 3x Tu-95MS Engels flypast’
which is quite historic in itself!
