What a Girl!! I now have a happy neighbour.
And great photo Robbo.
And, coincidentally, it was the guns of FE2b that my father (Machine Gun Corps) tested when first received in France.

Well yes if it has been fitted with a Royal Aircraft Factory T.5638 prop but the four bladed RAF T.28005 or Lang LP.892A props appear to have been more common.

As dave has said, it’s for an FE2b and is made to a Lang Proppeller drawing number.

Unless I am mistaken, Anneorac is the proeller specialist around here.
Maybe they will be along later?

Great response – not unexpected!!
It wont take a high res pic – trying all day – this is the best I can do —

Prop boss
I don’t know about [I]where[I] from (except the middle of a propeller:D) but as to what, the rather large clue will probably be on the embossed lettering on the side. Can you post a close-up of it, Tim?
The face on which the clock is mounted has a couple of keyhole-shaped mounting slots, perhaps for hanging on a wall. In that case, either the clock is fitted to the wrong side or something else attached to the clock side, though I can’t imagine what.
The lettering normally gives diameter, pitch and the engine type it is/was fitted to. The engine type, of course, pretty much being the vital clue and the item can then be tied down to a particular aircraft type.
On first glance, however, I’d say RE8 or BE2c.
