P-40B What Engine Powers It

Hi Everyone Just A Quick One What Engine Powers TFC’s P-40B ??

According to the CAA Airworthiness Approval Note (AAN), it is powered by an Alison V1710-C15, or a V1710-33 if you use the USAAF designation.

According to my ref it should have an allison v17-10 of 10040hp so about the same hp as an early merlin.

A so called “long nose” C Series Allison V-1710. Couldn’t tell you the exact dash number straight off.
