French van, c.1946 at Saigon Tan Son Nhut–can anyone identify it?

I am trying to identify the maker of the airfield van in the background of this photo taken at Tan Son Nhut, c.1946. I think it is a Renault, but it may be British. Any help in identifying it would be most welcome.
