Hi, Can anyone help with any close up pictures of the American Comet please, in particular the canopy and internal locking mechanism, but any pictures would be interesting, especialy if they were taken during construction. I have some but am always after more.
Thanks

I have seen those clips before on You Tube and have them saved as favourites so have seen them a few times, you just get the odd glimpse of the locking mechanism so we can probabley draw up something similar.
Have you seen this clip sadly too short..

No pics I’m afraid but I did remember this movie which may have a few clues in it (and if not, it is still fun to watch): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ppj0qALbAw
I just noticed that it is in two parts, here is part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SL3CQn5KM40

I still havent been able to get any pics of the canopy locking mechanism, I was given the contact details for their main pilot Robin but it must have changed..so again my request is does anyone have any pics of the inside of the canopy or any contact details of the current operating team
Thanks

Might be worth contacting the EAA? Maybe you thought about this already!
