Eventually made it to Newark this morning to get some record shots of the museums newly acquired Jaguar T2A as the trains were running 90 minutes late due to the wrong type of fog shorting out the overhead cables in the Biggleswade area when a train passed below them. By the time the train did turn up, we had blue sky and bright sunshine in Cambridgeshire although the further north we went the thicker the fog got. It was early afternoon before the sun shone at Newark and it got quite warm as well.
