Voodoo

I was doing some searching around trying to find out some information about the F-101B/F’s MG-13 FCS. I came across an interesting document from the early 90’s detailing the testing system that was used to evaluate the ALQ-126 on Canadian Hornets.

Interestingly enough, it used an MG-13 radar. I was interested to learn a few things about the set, I didn’t know, such as the fact that it had a HOJ capability. Did anyone else know this? Anyone know more about this test lab.

I’m curious to learn more about the interceptor Voodoo fire control sustem and how it compared with its contemporaries of the era (namely the 1960’s).

I’d also like to learn more about the radar in the F-101A/C models..(APS-54?)
