R1830 Rocker Cover…

I’ve recently acquired an R1830 rocker cover from a local B-24
( http://www.b24australia.org.au ) spares inventory.

Was wondering whether, given the closeness of origin, an identical cover was also used on the R2000..?

Any advice will be much appreciated…thanks.

R-1830 rocker cover

Given that the R-2000 was also referred to as the Twin Wasp and the bore only 0.25in larger (stroke unchanged) then I am tempted to say Yes.

It shared just about everything else with the R-1830 except for those parts affected by the bore dia increase. The main exception was the magnetos, which were front case mounted.
