Whilst thinking about low flying DC-3’s in the other thread, I came across this photo which doesn’t actually compliment the classic Dakota lines does it! The aircraft is Douglas BT-67, ZS-ASN pictured at Ayers Rock in Oz, a long way from it’s home in South Africa.

I guessed this plane would have a history and have now found that it flew with the RAF, BEA, Autair and others.
The list of registrations certainly kept the painter busy!
The plane was built in 1944 and converted to the BT-67 in 1992. It has been registered as KP279, G-AMNV, EC-ATM, SE-EDI, 6V-AAM, VQ-ZEA, ZS-FKI, ZS-NPI, A2-ADL, PR-MGF and PT-WXE. 😀
