Brian Goodale, Dambuster

On the death of his mother a work colleague found out he had been named after Brian Goodale. Brian had been his parents best man but he knows little more than that.
I have looked up his RAF record and found some more information on the Dambusters blog. What I can’t find out is where he was born or how they might have met.
I believe my colleagues father worked on Mosquitos during the war and in local government after. Could one of these be the answer?
Does anyone know where else I could find information.
