One of my spies took pictures of this Spitfire being sneaked through my turf (M5 Somerset) without a pass, I believe it belongs to a certain member of this forum called Baz !!!!!!!!!!!! :diablo:

Good grief, 4,500 homes, they must be shoebox size, I always thought of RAF West Drayton as a small place.

It was no accident that Mr B had his aircraft made from fibreglass as our radar failed to locate it we have now stepped up our defenses with PSM;s plastic seeking misiles they can also detect the smell of a pasty from over 20 miles ! I have IFF fitted to my Spitfire so its not its not subject to friendly fire. 😮

You might have more luck with AAA batteries, as they seem to fit everything nowdays……

Acording to the SBC (Somerset border Control) , Baz or Mr B alias Mr Big has been using his Spitfire to smuggle Cornishmen and Pasties into Somerset and the home county’s at £500 per head for some time. I was aware of these activities but was happy to turn a blind eye as he always paid the cider tax when travelling through Somerset, it seems he may now be sneaking through without paying this tax and we are setting up AA batteries along the border to protect our airspace. If you see this Spitfire in Somerset please report it imeadiately to the SBC. :diablo:

Hi
Is it the only way to get Rodda’s and Ginsters out of cornwall now:D, by hiding it in a spitfire:D
Wonder if this would work for shipping it over the pond.:)
cheers
Jerry

I had just been to West Drayton, the ex-site of LATCC Mil and now being developed into 4,500 homes. The first 450 homes had been built and Weston Homes put on a thankyou type function to the workforce and investors. They wanted the Spitfire as a link to the RAF on site. Went up Thursday and came back Friday.

Graham, I stopped at Taunton Dene services and paid my toll (in trap 2):D

I have another show early March in Kent for one day so I might be spotted again then.

Saw it heading southbound between Taunton & Tiverton on Friday afternoon (17th Feb). Very nice surprise! 🙂

don’t worry I know where he lives !!:diablo:

But the problem there involves leaving god’s own county and heading into the wilds, according to my map (which a bloke in a pub in Ashill gave me) beyond Devonshire be dragons and wild beasties.

You mean you didn’t charge him the regulatory cider tax? With any luck they caught him at Brizzle though border control is rather poor these days.

Better luck getting him on the way back.
