The Vintage Aviator airshow 21st January

Well I finally managed to get to a TVAL show at Masterton where they were actually blessed with the right weather to fly their collection.

The show started at 4.30pm and ran through to just after 7.30pm
Wind was variable, but did not rise to a dangerous level.
The only downer on the day for me was the non-appearance of the Avro 504K ZK-ACU. I’m still waiting to see that one outside and flying.
A reasonable size crowd in attendance despite the low-level of publicity, which should give the organizers enough to continue with their events.
