project for disposal

Because we need to make space for important project sadly and reluctantly we are looking at disposal of our Soko Kraguj P2 Sparrow Hawk.

This aircraft 30131 is a true war bird of the Yugoslavian conflict,only 58 of this very versatile aircraft where ever built and less than 20 survive today.the aircraft is a ground attack aircraft and was used very effectively in either getting somewhere very quickly on full tank sin 45 minutes or on taxi rank duties over 4 hours loiter ability to go on call in the ground attack role taking out targets then returning to the rank to wait its next call.

This aircraft is the first of the second batch built,the cockpit is complete right down to the gunsight all instrumentation is present and a lot of it works (we have not tried it all)The engine bay is complete with everything except the Lycoming GSO480 engine and the prop is not present.We had hoped she would be joined by a complete potentially flyable example from eastern Europe but this has not happened due to export issues from that country.

The aircraft had a major makeover last year and repaint for the display season.She is Fuselage only on its centre section with undercarriage .The aircraft come complete on a custom built transport trailer and can be loaded and off loaded by two people. TOTAL GROSS WEIGHT TRAILER AS WELL 1100 kgs yes ONE Metric ton about the same as a modest caravan you do not need a special vehicle you do not need cranes. Tow it behind you large family saloon take it to shows and cockpit fest . length 24 feet width 9 feet 9 inches.

You can tow up to 10 feet wide without any hassle so long as its clearly marked.Over 10 feet you have to notify and over 14 feet you need an escort !!!.

For obvious reasons we will not and cannot discuss the price we are looking for but please interested parties PM or Mail me to discuss further.You will not be dissapointed I promise and its on a similar range to a lot of cockpits recently on a well known web site (I dont mean the Tornado either).

The project also comes with some manuals (English and Croatian)and other details and locations of potential spares sources.

An absolute show blower !!!!!!!!

What happened to the one that was flyable in the UK?

I had a good look over it at Old Warden a few years ago.

paperwork is not an issue there was no paperwork as such for the others flying in the uk PLUS they are registered LAA because of their AUW being so low even though they have a brute of an engine and awsome performance.
