Massive propeller scrounge

The Whirlwind Fighter Project needs (apart from lots of donations) to source / make propeller blades. From various previous posts – and from the discussions on the site itself (http://www.whirlwindfighterproject.org) – you can follow the history of my painful education in this thorny area..

The best option we have is to find some Hamilton Standard D-shank blades of a size suitable to be profiled down to the DH 54409 shape.

We have had the offer of Caribou 7107 blades at ‘cost’ which would be perfect and just the thing I am trying to describe – but shipping costs from their current location in the world is looking prohibitive.

Has anyone in the UK or Europe got any knackered / old / damaged / ready-to-scrap Hamilton Standard (or Avia) blades with a ‘D’ shank? For re-profiling purposes they need to be at least 9.125 inches wide at a point around 30 inches from hub centre, and at least 60 inches hub centre to tip. Anything considered, but not a great deal paid (might as well be honest)!!
