Fokker D.VIII Replica ZK-FES has been operating at Hood airfield, Masterton, since November 2011.
This aircraft was carrying out airshow practice during my visit to Hood on the 7th January in preparation for the Vintage Aviator airshow scheduled for the 21st.
Nice looking machine, with that distinctive rotary warble courtesy of it’s TVAL-built Oberursel engine
