Lincoln Mk 1 Question

While Canada has a very very limited history with the Lincoln so I have not read up on the type or studied it at all (beyond what I have caught on this forum) but I recent conversation peaked my interest.

I have been told there are no Lincoln Mk 1s existent, in short they are extinct.

Is that true?

How historically significant is a Lincoln Mk 1?

or is it simply a foot note or curiosity?

I would appreciate being enlightened on this one.
