Spifire in private hands in Poland.

Hello enthusiasts!

A friend of mine told me about fellow who was restoring an old Mercedes automobile and was chasing a missing part on the net. He got a reply from a man i Poland who had a factory where parts for old cars were being manufactured. The polish man replied with an e-mail with a picture of himself in his very own Spitfire. Whether this was a genuine Spit or a replica I don’t know. My guess is that it was not the genuine thing. I can only find one Spifire in Poland and it is placed in a museum. I have searched on the net without finding any useful information.

Can anyone among this forums’ brilliant members shed some light on this?
