On 30 July 1938, three Gloster Gauntlets of No.151 Squadron flew down to Exeter to take part in the official opening celebrations of the airport. The event is recorded in ‘Flight’ but the names of the three pilots are not mentioned, except for Sgt Pilot C F Currant – later Wg Cdr C F ‘Bunny’ Currant. Can anyone please tell me the names of other two squadron pilots which took part – one was probably the ‘B’ Flt Commander.
