P47 crash at Crosswaithe 1945

anyone have any more info on a Honington based P47 thay crashed at Crosswaithe 30 june 1945.

is it covered in any books of the area or by any aviation groups there?

According to Joe Baugher (and also the MACR)
43-6731 P-51B (364th FG, 383rd FS) crashed at Crosthwaite, England Jun 30,1945 engine failure, pilot was Kortendick( Edward W ), died in crash.

That would be the P51B 43-6731 flown by Lt Edward Kortendick, he was killed in the crash following a collision with power lines. He was with the 383rd FS, 364th FG.
